He is charismatic, moral, and headstrong. Kirk is brave enough to save a planet under attack and charming enough to woo every woman there afterwards. Despite his strong sense of justice, Kirk stubbornly takes matters into his own hands, often disobeying orders to do what he thinks is best. He pushes his crew, his ship and most of all, himself, to the limits of what they can accomplish.

Kirk is a highly intelligent individual which impresses both his allies and enemies He is a natural leader, master strategist, manipulator, orator and has immense charisma. Also, he taught himself to speak several different languages, and is an excellent computer specialist. He was able to hack Spockβs test which was suppose to be unbeatable yet still managed to do so.Master Tactician: As the Captain of the Star Ship Enterprises, Kirk needed to be able to make multiple very important strategic decisions at once. Kirk can instantly create strategies and plans several steps ahead of his enemies and allies alike, with Commander Spock stating that he could see five steps ahead. He is able to elaborate complex strategies and apply them in not just battle, but any other activity as well.Expert Hacker: Kirk can hack into any advanced computer systems without tippling firewalls and security.Multilingual: Kirk is fluent in English, German, Russian, Spanish, Japanese, at least some French, and some Italian. He is also fluent in some intergalactic languages as well.Expert Combatant: Due to his Starfleet Academy training, Kirk is highly trained in the field of martial arts. While fighting against Nero, Kirk was able to hold his own momentarily before being defeated due to his opponent's enhanced strength as a Romulans.
